Once There Was a Girl
Once upon a time there was a girl. She wasn’t a particularly happy child, but she loved to be creative and spent every spare moment adding to the towering stacks of drawing books and canvases and endlessly scribbled her poems and short stories in her school notebooks.

Watercolor Painting Fun…
We took watercolor paper and wet it under the tap. Then dropped splotches of watercolor paint (the kind in tubes) that had been thinned and diluted in water onto the paper, using “droppers” made with straws. The kids then used the straws to blow the paint across the paper, creating a swirly sort of effect.
We dried the paper in the sun, and then the kids painted/colored right on top of the designs they had made.
